Sesoidon provides location sound recording for film, television, commercials and documentaries, backed by 19 years of on-set experience. We plan dialogue coverage, recording channels and camera synchronisation around your production, with our own sound equipment.
A production sound mixer manages the recording setup on location: microphone inputs, gain levels, multitrack recording, timecode synchronisation and sound reports. The aim is to capture usable production dialogue and organise the recorded material for post-production.
The sound mixer manages recording and levels; the boom operator follows dialogue and positions the microphone outside the frame while working around camera movement and lighting. Crew and microphone coverage are planned according to the scenes and production requirements.
We review the shooting schedule and locations, plan wireless lavalier and boom coverage, check the equipment and coordinate the recording workflow with the camera team. Recorded tracks and sound reports support the post-production handover.
Based in Istanbul, we join productions in other Turkish cities and overseas with our own equipment. Equipment departure, entry and return are tracked by our team; destination-specific requirements are reviewed during planning. Travel and accommodation are addressed in the project quote.
